Martin Luther King Jr.

Wow. Where can I even begin. This man has such a special place in my heart. Martin Luther King Jr. is one of the most greatest people I admire and is such an inspiration to me. He is one of the reasons why I love being black. H e did such awesome things when he was alive. He died at a young age. I can't even put into words how much he did for African Americans. He did above and beyond. This is a man that I will never get tired of. He is a hero to me and he leads me to do right and stay on the right path. He was one of the best leaders that have ever lived. He was religious and had faith in God thta's why he was such a good as well. He was a pastor which helped with his leadership skills. He was just a amazing man then and now to this day. We see the work he has done everyday. If it wasn't for him then black people would still have to deal with segregation and discrimination like it was back then. He gave us our rights as African Americans so that we would be created equal and treated equally. This is our foundation to life. He paved the way for us now so that we can live out his dream. But nobody doesn't even think about that. They just think about what they can get and just forget what we as black people have gone through. That's what makes me sad, angry, and disappointed at black people. I know your saying chill out it;s not that big of a deal. Maybe to you but to me it's everything and I would hope it would be the same for you to.  He fought for African American rights. He helped black people. We abuse those rights that he and other people fought for. I love his speech " I Have a Dream." That is what made me look up to him like I do now. Not only that but I read what he did which just made me speechless. This is a man that is still love and appreciate til this day. RIP Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and may God rest your soul forever.

  1. Yes Nay, now of days the people of the world and in schools don't even have any respect to sit and think wow this man really put his life on the line so I could have a better future for me and all the other people who have dedicated their lives to make a better future for us. I agree with you 100%

  2. Thank you Elona it's just a shame that people don't think about that and that's what upsets me the most. If I was in Martin Luther King Jr. shoes I would want people to think about having a better future because of what I did.
